Paris Sous La Pluie

PARIS SOUS LA PLUIE | WOMAN 1

I know it was super cheesy, but I have to admit that yesterday while walking around Paris (and struggling to take all the following pictures while holding an umbrella), I also couldn’t help but hum to myself, “Au soleil, sous la pluie, à midi ou à minuit” – Joe Dassin’s “Champs Elysées.”

Oh ça vaaaa.

Maybe it was the super cliché Paris under the rain moment I was having, or maybe just that the song has been stuck in my head ever since seeing the one-man show, How to Be Parisian in One Hour, but I’ll warn you now: that song is as catchy as an autotuned Britney Spears single. Do not listen unless you want it stuck in your head for the next few days.

Nonetheless, I had to share some of these pictures of random Parisian passerbys going about their life, under the rain here in Paris.

Being from Paris and having lived in the US and going back often, I never get bored discovering foods. That’s why my favorite video is the one trying supposedly French product in the US. Take care.

    • Trust me, I’ve got France’s back when it comes to those “French” products in the US. I *make sure* everyone knows they are not even CLOSE to the greatness of French food!
